Most of the time you'll have a standard Malaysian light fitting and all you need to worry about is the lampshade for a table/floor light or a ceiling/pendant light fitting. Simply select the correct orientation when placing your order.
Occasionally you'll have a table/floor light with a US fitting and you need to be careful to add a US adapter to your order and make sure of the position of the fitting (top of shade or bottom of shade). Additionally, if you choose a lampshade with a pattern that has an upside and a downside then you need to be careful to select the orientation that ensures the pattern runs in the right direction.
